Your Future Forward is a digital careers platform hosted on Instagram and TikTok which aims to help young people navigate the world of careers. The platform is designed to help connect young people and companies looking to recruit - two groups that are a distance apart.
The core audience for the brand are young people (14 - 18 mainly) who are struggling to work out their next steps, and what route to take after school or college/sixth form. They’re keen to progress in life and want a career they can enjoy but need help getting there from CV advice, interview tips through to university, apprenticeship or job application support. They value advice and support and need to know what they’re being given is high quality, impartial advice in a language and format that is easily understandable.

Companies are looking to engage and train their future staff, to ensure they have the skills required to develop the business further. Having been successful previously with recruitment, companies are struggling to attract potential Gen-Z apprentices. They are looking for help in spreading the word about their company values, about apprenticeship opportunities and describing roles with relevant language that resonates.
Your Future Forward is a brand built around a very strong singular vision to educate and support young people while connecting them to future opportunities. The brand needed to create an informative dialogue with young people with simple and honest language, that was equal parts trusted and passionate. Built from the ground up the brand was designed with key digital platforms in mind, creating recognisable visual content through the use of colour and photography and strong simple typography and messaging.
The Y/FF brand mark and logo were designed to offer a sense of movement while giving a reassuring confident and strong identity, appealing to both the youth and corporate audiences.
